Hair Growth Myths
Does cutting hair really make it grow faster? Why does my
hair grow to a certain length and then just stop? The more
you comb your hair the faster it grows, is it true? How can
I make my hair grow out faster?
Cutting your hair does not make it grow faster but it will
keep your hair healthy. So as your hair grows the ends don't
break off. Damage starts at the ends of the hair and travels
upwards to the shaft. If you don't continue to cut your hair
the damage will keep getting higher and break off. Damage
can be due to abuse or not a proper shampoo.
Some people believe that the stimulation of the scalp by brushing
your hair can help your hair grow faster. So far we have no
evidence whether this is true. However do keep in mind that
your hair is the most vulnerable and prone to damage when
wet.
Hair grows at a different rate for each person. The best
way to keep your growing strong is to keep it healthy and
eat a good healthy diet as well. Food plays a big part in
your skin and hair growth. And don't believe the empty promises
of shampoos and supplements for faster hair growth.
