Here are some alternate methods of transportation to get around the area:

• N.Y. Waterways
  (800/533-3779) crosses the Hudson River between Manhattan and Weehawken, every 15 minutes (every 10 minutes during peak morning and evening hours) and provides great skyline views. The cost each way is $5 to midtown, $6 to downtown, plus $5 for parking.

  From Keyport and Highlands to NYC in 40 minutes. Off peak $20 round trip
  
  
• Seastreak
  Year-round weekday and weekend fast passenger ferry service to Pier 11 (Wall Street) and East 34th Street in Manhattan. Our luxury catamarans depart from Atlantic Highlands, Highlands and South Amboy, New Jersey with 25 weekday and 4 weekend departures. Round Trip approx $35
